At this years ESSEN MOTOR SHOW countless automobile manufacturer made their way to the stands. Volkswagen, Audi, Skoda, Mazda and many more present their Highlights and novelties to the branch. Audi revealed the new R8 LMS. A sportscar specially developed as a costumer race version. Of course tuning and technology fans don't miss out on their needs either. Lots of showcars and vintage cars are on display aswell.

Der Audi A4 hat die Leserwahl zum Auto Bild Design Award gewonnen. Er kann sich nun - Schönstes Auto des Jahres 2008 - nennen. Audi gewinnt diese Auszeichnung bereits zum dritten Mal hintereinander.

After presenting in Los Angeles the lowest consumption 4seater of the world (UP lite) Volkswagen showcased in Detroit the New Compact Coupé NCC. This car fills the gap between the successful old CC and the sporty Scirocco giving proof that low consumption and eco-friendlyness can also make a very sporty hybrid, The NCC makes 45mpg and the 110 kW TSi petrol engine accelerates in 8.1 sec. to 60 - up to a top speed of incredible 141mph.

Even standing it looks like rolling. That is what Ford calls ?kinetic design?, which they finished to perfection with the new Ford FOCUS. Ford presented at the Detroit Motor Show the 3door and 5door model of the new FOCUS to be in the market early 2011. Based on this c-platform there will be ten(!) more models to come, which shall be sold two million times until 2012.

Nach dem sparsamsten Viersitzer der Welt in Los Angeles zeigt Volkswagen in Detroit jetzt den NCC - das New Compact Coupé. Angesiedelt zwischen dem sportlichen Scirocco und dem erfolgreichen Compact Coupé zeigt VW mit dem zweiten Hybrid-Konzept, dass Sparsamkeit und Umweltschutz überhaupt nicht langweilig sind. Der NCC verbraucht mit seinem 110kW (150PS) TSi Benzinmotor und 20kW (27PS) Elektromotor gerade mal 4,2 Liter, beschleunigt in 8,6 sec. auf 100 und läuft unglaubliche 227 km/h Spitze.

Selbst wenn er steht, sieht er aus als ob er fährt. Kinetic-Design nenne das die Ford-Leute, das sie in Ihrem neune Ford FOCUS zur Perfektion getrieben haben. Auf der Detroit Motor Show hatte die drei- und fünftürige Version des FOCUS Weltpremiere, der Anfang 2011 in Deutschland auf den Markt kommen wird. Bis 2012 will Ford auf der C-Cars zehn(!) weitere Modelle bauen, von denen bis 2012 zwei Millionen Stück verkauft werden sollen.
