"A Summernight's Concert in Berlin"

"Träume" is a study for one of my favorite operas - Tristan und Isolde. Wagner's life was not unsimilar to his music. When you listen to this song, you get the feeling that he must also have been an amazing lover as well as a great composer.

The poems to the five Wesendonck Lieder are written by the poetess, Mathilde Wesendonck. It is thought that she was one of Richard Wagner's lovers. (June 2007).
