The video was made by French directors Julien Mokrani and Samuel Bodin and produced by Six Pieds Sur Terre / Gabriel Editions. It took place in the Basque country where GOJIRA live. Main actress Claire Theodoly has studied theatre for many years and is currently rehearsing a main role in a play called "Le Jeu de l'Amour et du Hasard" (Marivaux) at the Centre Dramatique in Tours (France). "Vacuity" was shot with a RED video camera , the same one Peter Jackson will use for his upcomming Bilbo the Hobbit 1 and 2 movies.
